Founding perspective

Photography, video, and sound together

Microdac began from the idea that visual and acoustic storytelling strengthen each other. Each format keeps its own discipline while sharing one studio approach.

Creative stance

Patient observation first

Some subjects reveal themselves only after a long wait. Recording slowly lets light, movement, and sound settle into their natural rhythm before anything is framed or captured.

Audio follows the same logic. Unhurried recording keeps room tone, pauses, and breath intact, so the spoken format carries the texture of the moment rather than an edited version of it.

Tools and ethics

Field acoustics, lenses, and natural light

Each production is planned around the room, the available light, and the lens that suits the subject. Microdac records with attention to field acoustics and keeps natural illumination where it can.

The documentary approach stays quiet: subjects are given space, nothing is staged, and every frame, clip, or episode is presented as it was captured.
