Microdac runs three kinds of production: on-location and studio photography, end-to-end video, and podcast recording with narrative sound assembly. Each format is planned, captured and finished on its own terms.
What we shoot
Editorial and documentary stills
Photography sessions are scoped around the story a client needs told. We shoot on location or in studio, using soft window or studio light, and deliver a curated selection of colour-faithful files.
Moving image
Video from capture to edit
Video work covers capture, colour grading and editing in one continuous process. Each cut is reviewed on site and checked for colour consistency before the final version is delivered.
How it works
Three steps, one process
Every project follows the same three stages: planning, field recording and final mastering. Each stage is agreed before the next begins, so the finished work matches what was discussed.
Planning
We define the subject, shot list or episode outline, and the schedule. Locations, equipment and participants are confirmed before any recording day.
Field recording
Photographs, footage and audio are captured on location or in studio. Sound is monitored live, and frames and takes are checked on site.
Final mastering
Selects are graded, edited and mastered for their final format. Stills, video and podcast episodes are delivered as finished files.
